Expertise
Dr. Nanchaya Wanasen is a team leader of the PRRS research at the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), Thailand. She and her team have established various genetic engineering techniques for PRRSV genome manipulation and are currently using them to generate novel PRRS vaccine candidates. With her additional interest in immunology, she is expanding the research expertise into examining the host immune responses following PRRSV infection as a way to understand PRRSV infection and improve vaccine efficacy.
